Default Plan on buying a bike this weekend!!!

Hey guys, So I just got my motorcycle permit yesterday and am going to look at some bikes this weekend at the local honda dealership. I am 85% certain i am going to be buying a brand new CBR250r, but we will see how that plays out. I was originally gonna get a R6 until I found out my insurance would be $200 a month, compared to only 50 for the CBR. I have thought about looking at some Ninja 250's but i am uncertain. You guys got any advice on how to get the best deal possible???

Bring cash, and stand your ground. If you go at the end of the day, they will be rushing to make a deal so they can go home. If they dont make a deal, dont stress, go to another dealer who will. Call around and talk to the manager to see if he will sell you the bike for the price you want. You may need to travel out of town, but the savings may be worth it.

Depending on where you are, there may be a member here that works at a dealer near you that can get you straight to the bottom line.

Good luck!

when i was looking around for bike i looked on ebay, craigslist and a lot of other sites. i ended up driving like 400miles to get my bike. and if you can come up with a price that you want to spend and then go get a loan, if you have a car put your car up for the loan. i did that and the main reason y i did it that way was because of insurance as well. its a lot cheaper for full coverage on a car then a bike if you are a new rider. well go luck with everything.
