So pumped!!!! I am picking up my 97 smoking joe 600 my first bike after work today bike has ben sitting for 2 years so I got to do some things to it but I will be ridding next week depending on the weather

 

Smokin joes are cool bikes! Great find, make sure its authentic and you get what you pay for. Should have a designation sticker that says cbr600sj on it. Maybe one of the f3 guys will chime in with the exact location of it. Good luck and congrats on the bike!

It might not be a true smoking joe the guy said it was but I haven't seen this paint job before. I only gave 1200 for it and it has 13000 miles I will post pics when I find out how. It has Ben sitting for 2 years so I cleaned out the gas tank and replaced the fuel filter and I got it started but I think the float bowls r stuck cuz gas is pouring out of the carbs

 

I'm a huge fan of the SJ edition.. They are so nice.. Best of luck with it.

 

$1200 is a nice deal if its in good condition. A little TLC & you hopefully will be good to go. Congrats.

Got the carbs fixed and got a noe battery took it out for my maden voyage this bike is impressive only got to ride for 10 min cuz had to go somewhere hope to ride this week might play hookie from work hahaha
