Hello guys I'm new to the sport bike scene been riding cruisers for about 4 years. So i have some time hitting the pavement on 2 wheels! I recently got a 1991 CBR600F2 and I tell ya what she looks really ugly right now but runs good! So glad I started on something alot smaller then the CBR 1000 RR I was looking at I am very impressed with the performance that this bike has! It's way more ballsie then the cruisers I'm use to. The guy before me got it from someone else who was turning it into a race bike so I got some work to do but the plastics are coming off.

I am thinking of turning it into a street fighter that or finding out the original color scheme and just restore it. but for now I just need to get the cash flow to start building what ever it may become

I'll have pics up after I can get my camera recharged lost the charger some where but not sure where Have fun riding and keep it greasy side down!

 

Fixin' her up is half the fun, right?

Welcome to CBRF Phreak!! You picked a good bike to start the sport bike phase of your life. The F2 is a very reliable and bombproof bike if maintained properly. I've had mine for 12 years now and have had very few problems. Swing by the F2 Section with any questions or comments you may have regarding your bike.

Like ewe said, the F2 is pretty much bulletproof so I'm sure you'll have plenty of life left in her.
