Old timer from New England
I just found your site and I'm mighty impressed. Been riding for many years. I feeel like I'm just coming around full circle as far as riding goes. Bought my first bike, a Triumph, for $1100 33 years ago and I just bought a 96 CBR600F3 a week ago for $1100! Haven't had time to sort it out yet but it's running really good.
I've owned 20 bikes and Hondas are the BEST. 2 Hurricanes (one stolen and found chopped up...grrrrr). I rode that first Hurricane from Massachusetts to California and back when it was brand new and the coolest bike in the U.S.A. I've already picked up some great advice here and I love what you guys are doing with your bikes. You guys are so courageous. I haven't seen any limits to what you will attempt, and it's all been beautiful in its' own way. Thanks for being. |
Welcome to the CBRForum podunkian! Glad you found us & like what we have to offer.
An F3 for $1100 sounds like a good deal. We like pics, so post up one. ;-) I'll bet your cross-country ride from Mass to CA was quite the experience w/ many stories of its own. ;-) |
Welcome to the Forum, (Old Timer) :)
Only 33 years ? Nothing old about you. Enjoy what's on offer. |

Here's the new bike. I think I got a great deal. Just took it for first ride to get a sticker. All good. Ran like a scalded chicken! WAAAHOOOOOO!!!! This is the "pretty" side. There are plastics to look for, but I've got all winter.

She'll be stuck at 26k for a couple/few months unless we get some more unseasonable weather. Doesn't Al Gore know we want some global warming to ride more?
