Old Newbie
Hi, ladies and gents of the CBR forum.
Been a long time rider of just about everything that goes!
Started out [ roadwise, that is!] in '77 with a cb single 100.
Went all over the place on that little beast.
After the little girl passed, I thought that I'd like something a bit faster....
so I went to an RX 125 Yam.
Still not fast enough, despite a few? mods. Tried a CB350 four for a year or2, then went the 500 four.
Too many years, miles whatever have passed since then, but I recently was given the use of an F4i 600, and now the bug is back, dammit!
Been working on it slowly, both for me and it's owner - my adopted daughter.
Somethin' about common ground comes to mind, but I still got more fines than her.
Got the bike a new skin and some other fancy bits, but it's going to take a bit of time to get it together.
She runs like a dream, and goes, compared to my old rides. .woohoo!
Sorry, I bet that sounds a bit weird coming from an older guy.
So I guess it's something that you never get tired of.
Pity the roads here in Vic are such poor examples of what they should be, it's a real pain.
Well, I guess that sorta covers for an intro, and hopefully gives you all an insight into my riding history.
This sounds like the right sort of place for me.{ I am NUTS. btw!} lol!

Welcome to CBRF! Its always nice to see a family project come along, I'm glad your adopted daughter and you have the riding bug. This is a great forum for the F4i, tons of 'em on here

Thanks for the welcome , guys!
Really just getting her back together - with a few minor mods - at the mo.
Having to wait on the weather to spray paint is a pain, seeing as how I only have 1 colour coat and the clears to go.
Working on the LED layout, in the meantime, so I guess it's ok.
We been looking at putting together an undertail, but it seems there are some issues with the indicator positions [ or was it wiring? ]on the aftermarket ones that have us stumped.
We'll eventually get her sorted.{electrically, that is!}.
On the up side, we got her new skin, this week. Yay.
