Old CBR, new rider TMA :)
Hello everyone! I'm new to the motorbike world and I have found a lot of of useful info from the riders here. I recently bought ~
1992 cbr600 f2
8k miles $1600
This is my first bike and I am a new rider ( not the best bike to learn on, so I have heard). Basically, there is much to learn about riding and the bike itself and I'm willing to receive any info you all have to share. I have been to my bike's thread and I've enjoyed seeing its potential. Many of you have some really nice bikes with upgrades and beauty mods, and I'm hoping to get there in time. Thanks in advance!

Glad to have found this place. I'm sure I will be lurking around here often in my free time.

Thanks, love the bike already. Good way to clear my head (wifey is 8.5 months preggo). Bike does need a lil work though. I want to give it a tune up, and somehow fix my leaky forks seals. I have a repair manual but it is not very detailed, I've seen a better one but I will have to do more searching and find it.

Welcome aboard F2SS!
Yep, its a good thing to have in the garage to tinker w/ when you need some private time. ;-)
Sounds like you're really enjoying it. That's excellent! Always good to hear from a new owner who's excited. :-)
Take your time learning & always wear your gear for protection. Have you taken the MSF course?...Motorcycle Safety Foundation.
