Default ******* of Florida

Picked up a 96 F3 last week needs some plastic work and paint. Got it pretty cheap because it wasnt running. Cleaned carbs and #2 and #3 plugs weren't connected , Flushed radiator and changed the oil. Runs good now.

F3's are tanks. I had one when I lived in the panhandle.

Welcome to the forum. What are your plans for the bike?

First thing i plan on doing is stripping all the green paint off and repainting. PO sprayed it on everything, brake lines, water hoses and upper forks. Valve adjustment soon and replacing float bowl screws with hex head since some of them are already striped out. Going to replace brake lines with stainless steal. Need to learn how to weld plastic and get the body work back on.

Yes they are. Keep the green and finish it in camo trim, like a tank.
I would anyway...

You have courage - and hopefully an unlimited font of money. It's hard owning a sportbike after a goofball with bad judgement owned it. I hope you're experienced in repairs as it sounds like this bike's going to need a lot of attention.

How much did you pay, and where are the pics?
