Not so new rider on a not so new CBR
I recently purchased a 1988 CBR 1000F with 31k miles on it. A little touch up work, but overall a very clean ride. It's the original black and red, I'm already planning to repaint it to more visible colors.
I was reading these forums for a few weeks now while I was waiting for final news on my purchase. Alot of good tips and overall it is great to see the community feel you all have here over IMHO one of the nicest bikes of the honda line for their age. Opinions vary, but I've persoannly wanted one of these since I was a kid and my father test rode one.
Happy riding, keep the rubber side down everyone!

Welcome to the forum, and damn, 1988 with 31k is not so bad I suppose. Post some pics when you're done painting her so we can see the old school bike at its full potential! I looked up the 1988 cbr1000f just because I was curious to see what it looked like, and I would definately ride something like that around.
