Hey what's up everyone as you can see there's another noob on the forums. I don't have a bike yet but I've been checking out the CBR 600 & 750 i think it is. I'm looking at getting my very first bike and have been told a CBR is a great start. I just want something small so I can get my feet wet and get used to riding and handling a bike.I'm in the Dallas, Tx area so anyone around thats always looking for someone new to ride with send me amsg. Any tips or suggestions are gladly welcome.

Get the CBR750, they are rare, but they'll do the job.

Welcome to the forum. Good to have you.

I guess I figured that Tweakd thought that only a 1000+ cc bike is considered 'big', that I'd suggestthe older heavier model rather than the new cutting edge model. It doesn't sound like he would want to hear the standard discussion of 'get a ninja 250', so maybe a 20 year old 750 would be a better fit for him than a 2007 600RR?

That's my mistake, I thought they made a CBR750 just a few years back. But I'm leaning towards a smaller bike just because I've never riden before.

A smaller bike meaning a 600cc bike. Since it will be my first bike it's not like i'd go out and try to get a 1000cc to learn on.
