Hi guys I'm Val and im very new to the bike world. My husband has had a few bikes years ago but this is his first sport bike. I'm here to learn along with him I like the idea of a bike but I'm also super scared to get hurt. So I'll be overcoming that in the future.

I found his bike for him it's a 2001 Honda cbr 929 Erion racing. It's so pretty!
Anyways just wanted to say hi and I'll be around learning I know we want to get some cosmetic stuff for the bike right now it is fully stock.

Hey Val, welcome to the forum!
Sounds like a great bike, got any pics of it?
I would try and watch "A twist of the wrist 2" if you get a chance.
It may help, I learned a good bit from it.

ADDED : SHADOW
I have the book on a CD if interested

Welcome to the site! It is awesome that couples are getting into this sport! Soon you will want one of your own.

There are risks that come with riding, and we manage those risks by wearing the proper gear and learning to ride proficiently. If you haven't taken an MSF course yet, I would highly encourage it.

Welcome again, and we would all like to see pics of the bike!

Thanks guys! Yea I know he's always liked them and I've thought they were cool too. I'll prob want one later but I think I'd want to start on something smaller and prob a ill beat up so I wouldn't feel bad it I dropped it.
Here is the bike it's fully stock and only has 1600 miles on it.

A few minutes after it was delivered

Just taking it down the street - our dog was very concerned

welcome to the forum Val, and your husband too.

Erions are super sweet bikes! I had one of those, before I got my current 929. You're right, they are pretty as the are. Don't change it too much

if you got any questions about it, feel free to ask. see you over in the 929 section...

have you thought about getting your own bike? these bikes are way more fun to ride solo.

Welcome aboard Guys! Great looking Erion!

+1 to taking the MSF course. Motorcycle Safety Foundation It will teach you basic riding techniques & rider safety. The course counts for the riding & written dmv tests in many states. It will also give you a discount on your insurance.

Wear your protective gear & be safe! Ride your own ride.

Welcome aboard!

Oh no he wouldn't dare mess it up he's the kind of guy to keep all the factory parts too so it can always go back to stock.
He's taking the corse next weekend and he's got his helmet an arai and icon jacket and gloves, he's a happy camper!
