Default Newbie in Ohio

Just wanted to say hello. Newbie to the forum here. Also a newbie to Honda in general. All my past bikes have been Suzuki's or Yamaha's. Started out riding when I was about 5, proceeded to MX/SX racing until I was 17. Then after a few years bought my first street bike, an 01 GSX-R 600. Since then I have had an 04 R1 and 05 R6. In Octboer of 2005 I was in a pretty bad accident on my R6. In short, I was run over by a school bus and taken by careflight to the hospital. All I can remember is waking up underneath a bus then waking up in a hospital bed with 60+ staples in my stomach from a ruptured spleen, 3 broken ribs, punctured lung, broken clavical, and plenty of road rash. After that accident I rode a few friends of mines bikes here and there but just recently purchased my '08 CBR1000RR and absolutely love it. I have only done a few basic modifications to the bike: Leo Vince Carbon Fiber slip-on, Power Commander, Shorty Roll-a-Click levers, undertail kit, Hotbodies dark smoke windscreen, CF sliders, Honda solo seat cowl, etc. I have worked in the motorcycle industry for about 15-16 years now. Pics coming soon.

Thank you and I've always been a firm beleiver in helmets. In this case a Shoei RF-1000 saved my life! I need to get some pics up soon. My '08 is the Yellow/Black like the one in the main banner. I was looking for the all black but my shop only had the Yellow/Black, Red/Black, and Silver/Black. I also have a Yellow Mustang so I went with the Yellow bike as well...lol.
