Thumbs up Newbie here!

Hi all!
Im a fairly new cbrf4 owner who loves my "new" cbrawr. I purchased this bike christmas of '11 with a few dings. Honestly, the bike was bought brand new and laid down at 30mph and never rode again.

The F4 came into my possession with 2k miles, no side fairings, and an aftermarket Super Sport Race Tail

All in all, buying a '00 F4 with 2k miles has been amazing. Gotcbr and the rest of yall have got me so inspired to get tail mods done, suspension work calibrated to how i ride, and just love the sport so much more!

I cant wait to follow everyone's threads and make some of my own and be a part of this awesome community.

i definitely like it here thanks!
i have been reading in this forum for about two weeks and it dawned on me that i needed to register.

**UPDATE**

i just got the bike out of the shop last week... had the entire fuel system, lines, vacs, tank.. all of it cleaned and carbs synced. so far she rides like a champ! i let my brother sit on it for a picture and he laid it down on the stator cover, just a few scratches. now the gasket (hopefully) needs replacing due to oil leaking a few drops everytime it runs.
last night, driving home about an hours ride, the headlight started to dim and i had an electrical stall. battery is brand new. jumpstarts just fine. so my charging system is out. im hoping its just the R/R.. but could be the stator due to being laid down? ill post bout that later. my tail fairing doesnt fit either lol.

so in a nutshell.. thats my F4! thanks for the welcome!!

Welcome aboard Acespad!

Congrats on getting your F4! Sounds like a good one, especially w/ the low miles.

Glad you found my split-seat conversion tutorial & enjoyed it. :-) If you decide to do the conversion, just let me know if you need any help.

Also, if you do some quick searches in the F4 section, you'll find where we have discussed the R/R. Honda superseded the old flat R/R, that was prone to overheating, w/a really nice quality finned R/R that's a great part. Myself & other F4 members have replaced our old R/R's w/ the new unit.

Good to have you w/ us.
