HI having done several bikes changed to 1998 CBR 600f.
Any advice on things to look at? Instant performance mods?

Like regener8ed said, have a good read in the F3 section and you'll get an idea of what some people recommend.

We have plenty of mods for ya to do...
that just depends on your experience level

Head on over to the f3 tab and lets get some parts on your bike!

Whenever buyin a new bike you should always check ALL the fluids. brake pads, chain and sprockets. stuff like that. you can usually see how the bike has been cared for by studying some of general maintenance parts.

As far as instant perfomance goes, you can never go wrong with a new exhaust. and a sprocket change (-1 in front, and +2 on rear) will give you an insta-boost. recently did it to mine and it was like a whole new bike.
