not to belittle you, but you never know. are you doing it right? turn the handlebars all the way to the left then push in on the key and turn it counter-clockwise. if that doesn't work, i have no clue.

I've tried that and I've tried moving it little by little away from full lock and the key just won't turn left

try having the bars all the way to the left and then wiggling the bars while pushing in on the key and counter clockwise on it all at the same time.

Okay I'll try that in a bit, lol my security now is running a bike lock through the front disk to the nearest pole

don't know where you park but you may want to continue doing that as well, because those steering wheel locks are easily breakable.
