Default new from texas

I currently dont own a bike right now. been borrowing and riding a friend of mine while he was in afghanistan. it has motivated me enough to buy one so i decided until then i should get the knowledge of what there is and what i can do to certain bikes. i am looking to get the 600. i dont think i am ready for 1000 yet lol. hope there is plenty to do on these bikes and hope to have enough knowledge when i get one finally.

Welcome. imo 1000 is unnecessary power. most people (including me) will never use all the power their 600 puts out, plus it makes it hard to enjoy a bike when you goose the throttle and get kicked.. take the course for sure. gear up and ride safe
