New from Taiwan

Hello Everyone,

Just got my CB 400 VTECIII sold and switch to CBR 600 RR 2003. Surf on this site for couple days and found out lots of useful info about HONDA CBR.

I like this forum alot, and thanks for let me in.

Justin

I love how international this board is. I want to visit the far east so bad and can only imagine what the motorcycle culture is like there in Taiwan. It seems like most every other country in the world has so many more bikes than the US, and actually treats them less like a recreational vehicle and more like a viable means of transportation every day in all conditions. What's it like in Taiwan?

Thanks for warm welcome, everyone.

You are right, Jay. Most of people in Taiwan have their scooters under 250 cc. Because it's cheap and easy for parking so lots of people ride scooter for work and doing business. And, the bike over 250 cc would be treated as RV. Since the tax on these bikes is very high, so still not very popular in Taiwan. Not to mention a knowledgeable bike forum like this. Also, our big brother does not allow bikers to go on high way so.... I wish I was in US. Anyway, so nice to find this site and have talk with you guys. : )

Hello everyone,

Good to meet people from Taiwan on this site. Feel so good. These days, I was still trying to get familiar with my new bike, CBR 600RR. This bike is a lot more powerful than CB 400. I can reach 130 M/H in just couple seconds. The speed could still go on but my heart is not strong enough to add more speed. Very impressive bike. The side effect is, both of my thighs are sore....I can't even walk next day. That's interesting experience. Ha Ha Ha...
