Hey everyone, hows it goin? So I've been browsing for bikes for the past two months and I'm probably going to bite on one tomorrow. I went and checked out a 97' CBR F3 today at a dealership. It had 19k on it and the only thing wrong with the bike was a small crack on the fairing covering the front tire(probably from a rock) and the front tires tread was pretty low. He was asking $3295, so I offered $2700. I got a smirk followed by a quick hell no. After a few minutes the best deal I could get was him down to $3100 and a deal on two helmets. Definitely going to pass. Then I found another bike, which I asked about in the F3 section, and its another 97' black white and red from a private seller. He's the second owner and it has 20k miles on it. Not a scratch, not a crack. Carbs recently jetted, slip on exhaust, and 1500 miles on the tires. Hopefully I can get it for 2700/2800 (fingers crossed) If I get it ill post some pics going to be a chilly ride home if I do since I live in wisconsin...tomorrow will be a high of 32 degrees and its about 45 minutes from my house You will be seeing a lot of posts from me I'm sure so nice to meet all y'all in advanced and talk to ya soon

Sounds like you got the PO down as far as you could, also sounds like a very reasonable bike. Post some pictures when you can.
