Hello, I have have had some kind of a motorcycle since I was a kid and I have to say that this 06 F4I is a nice bike. I have been riding Sportsters for 7 years and Iwanted more bang for by buck but not too fast andI still wanted comfort for my wife. She hatedto ride on my Harley. So I came a crossed this 2006 F4i blue with the bananna seat it had 1480 mi so I bought it and my wife loved the way it looked and the ugly seat. So to the guys I have checked and the rear tail is a easy fix around 600 bucks. Or a company called luimoto.comthey make custom seat covers that are real nice.Or do what I did go out riding and find a guy riding aBuell Xb12 that thinks your littleHonda is funny and ripping on you in front of people long story short he could not out run my 600 and at a buck 35ish he got out of it and a Turbo Busa fromback in the pack bleeeeeeeeeew past. TheF4i is not anewbe bike but a great all around bike very happy with it. But dose aslip on really change the performance or just make noise. What changes makes a big differance to the bikeperformance.

Welcome to the forum. From Sportster to F4i huh? Very interesting. And damn, 135 mph already, please be careful. As far as the slipons go, they are much lighter then the stock, sound better, look better but I haven't noticed ANY performance change other then the reduction in weight. I have a Micron highmount on my 01 f4i and please do something about that nana seat, yuck.
