Default New to Riding.

Hi Everybody,

well i am very much new to riding and do not owe a bike yet. I am planning to get a CBR 600RR.
Can anybody pls guide me as to how and where to start.

The first thing to do will be to enroll for a motorcycle class but do they teach you how to ride a sports bike? from where can one learn the sports bike riding basics?

Thanks all for your valuable info.

Cheers.[&:]

The course will teach you the basic skills. You will most likely be on a 250cc cruiser or dual sport. Some classes may have a little Ninja (or something like it, but mine didn't). Either way, you can apply those same priciples to the sportbike. Good luck, and welcome to the site.

Hello and welcome. You might want to do a search of the forum to find the many discussions of whether a 600RR is a good first bike.

Welcome

Just some advice on what I did. I took a day class on riding, we rode little 250 nighthawks or something (that was my only riding experience). I just bought a 600RR about a week ago and have been riding it everyday.. just have to take it easy.once you get on it and not be scared.
