Default New rider from Norwalk, CT!

Hello everyone!
My name is Mike and I just purchased my first street bike 2 days ago.
I was looking at a 95 Katana 600 with 5500 miles, but knew the bike as a whole would not satisfy me for long. Fortunately my friend told me about his buddy selling his 1999 CBR600 F4 2 days before I was supposed to go pick up the Katana.
Im heading out tomorrow on my day off to buy some gear and I've already signed up for the basic rider course. I have 5/6 years of dirt bikes under me so it will be like riding a bike (bad pun).
Overall I am really excited and very happy with my decision to get the Honda.

Here it is:

Thanks for looking
Mike

Welcome Mike. I like the yellow, good color to be seen with. Good deal taking the course. I just took the Advanced MSF course last spring (on my VTX cruiser) - and my luck - it rained all day. BUT it let me test my skills and check the limitations of the bike and how it handled in the rain. Definitely worth it.

Very nice F4, Mike... and Welcome to the CBRF.
Definitely the better choice, man......you're gonna love this bike. Great choice on taking the MSF, too.

Welcome Mr Mike.
Your yellow beast is nice. Velly velly nice. My favourite colour.
You're in the right place to keep it, and you in good shape.
In most environments it's usual to stay clear of the nutters, here, it's compulsory to bear hug 'em.
Hope the test is more like riding a dolphin, or a freight train. You can do it!
