I recommend the MSF Course, if you haven't already checked into it. It teaches basic maneuvers, technique, & safety.

Yes, get your gear! You usually get what you pay for when it comes to gear. So, get the best you can afford.

 

Thanks, Yea i plan on doing the MSF course once I get a little more cash... Hopefully I can get a ride tomorrow to get my gear, seeing how the bike is my only set of wheels I have now

 

I'm sure its tough to hold off the urge, but i'd probably take the MSF class before anything else.

That will set you up with the skills you need to not hurt yourself and your bike.

Nothing would be worse than putting your new girl down on the ground.

lol yea I already threw on my old dirtbike helmet and took her for a spin in my neghborhood.. I should be getting some cash next week, that will be goin to the MSF
