New Rider...new to everything.

I can honestly say, I don't know much about bikes, I just recently got a lil project 94 CBR 600. I can't wait to ride, and I'm also getting ready to take the MSF class. I live in North Carolina which is boring.

Congrats on the bike. Its smart to start off on an older CBR, they are much easier to learn on. Post some pics and good luck.

I appreciate it! I'm so excited. Hopefully either this weekend or next month, I will be taking the MSF class. Is there anything basics wise and maintenence wise that I should know first hand to keep my bike in good shape? Currently the bike isn't runnin, the hoses connected to the gas tank aren't connected to anything...anyone of a diagram or something to help me reconnect them?

Welcome. There are online manuals for the bike posted here. That may help you figure out what goes where. Since it is older, you may need that manual to do some carb work at some point in the future. Just keep your chain clean and lubed and your oil changed regularly and she'll treat you right.

How hard is it to replace the sprockets and chain? My chain and sprockets are seriously rusted, so Ima just replace it.

This is my lil project that I got started today. The gas was turned off & the hoses weren't connected. I'll post more pix once all the fairings are put back on. Also, where could I get a whole set of fairings for an F2?

For aftermarket plastics, try ebay or here http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/...0F21991-94.htm
