Default New rider, new bike

So at the age of 41, I finally got around to getting a bike. My good friend helped me find the right bike and here she is, a 1992 CBR 600 F2. I picked it up for $1500. It has been down twice, but just has some minor scratches. Starts and runs perfectly:

Going to do my basic rider training course next week and going to ride my buddies dirt bike all winter. Should be ready to ride in the spring.

Look forward to learning from the forum!!

Hey there ko67, congratulations on your new bike. I really like that blue, and it goes well with the white rims; nice looking bike. Good to hear you're taking a course ~ very helpful.
