Default New Rider Here

Whats up people, i've never owned a motorcycle, but have been riding dirt bikes since i was a kid. my wife said if i stop smoking, she'll buy me a bike. i called her on it, and we went shopping for a bike that night! the only bike i've ever wanted was a cbr, so i'm going to get a cbr. look forward to learning something from u guys and contributing to this forum.

Welcome to the site. Congratulations on quitting. I quit smoking several years ago myself, smartest thing I'd ever done. Which cbr do you plan on getting?

Quiting was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I still crave them from time to time (it has been over 5 years).

The bike, and your health, will be well worth it! Just be safe

Haha, awsome! Well done! Welcome to the site, and welcome to the addiction. I've never been a smoker... but visiting these forums is what's gotten me to spend close to a grand on "mods"... and I've not even done anything to the performance yet... but that's next, oh yes... that is next....[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Seeing how this is your first Street Bike, you should probably look for a usedCBR. Look into the CBR600f4i model. They'regreat bikes. Take the MSF course before you start hitting the streets, they have great information that most don't even think about when getting on bike and riding down the street. Street riding is a completely different beast then dirt riding, so ride safe and have fun!. Ask all the question you want ... these guys/girls are great/helpful people on this forum.
