Default New rider

Hey everyone I bought a 2001 CBr F4i last year and Started rideing this year and I'm loving it.

The guy i bought the bike from was an old friend who passed away and when he rode...he just rode. So needless to say the bike is a bit to stock for my taste.

My father has a decked out 2006 hayabusa so im a bit envious right now seeing the difference. The only mod ive made was I chopped off the rear fender and took off the reflectors. I'm hopeing to get flush mount turn signals and a exaust for this year.

Wich brings me to a question, what do you recommend for a slip-on/full system exhaust? I want loud but not D&D loud. Im looking into a Hindle and a Akrapovic for now. Anything eles I should consider?

Hello Robbie, sorry you came about your bike in such sad circumstances, although it's pretty cool that you've now got your friend's bike. If you can afford it, Akrapovic is probably the finest exhaust you can get, imo.

Default yosh

i have ran a full yosh set up on my 1993 f2 for about the last 2 years and it sounds awsome wouldnt trade it for anything. it came with a vance and hines slip on that souned too stock so i switched them out, and it made a huge diffrence. i love the mean sounding pitch that it puts out.

Welcome aboard Robbie glad to have you with us
Exhaust wise, stick with a slip-on, as a full sytem won't really give you that much extra performance gains for the money.
Brands?.....depends on price. Akro expensive but rightfully so...one of the nicest out there. Two brothers is one of the best also. Pic which one you like and look up audio clips on Youtube before you make your decision.

Welcome aboard! Everyone gave me a warm welcome when I joined and was more than helpful with whatever issues I had at the time. You cant go wrong with the Two Bros. pipe. I see more of them on Hondas than any other brand around here. Keep the rubber side down and enjoy!!!
