I have a question.....what rpm do you normally shift at? At 7000 i feel like I am going to blow my engine up but the red line isn't until like 14,000. Am I going to be ok running this thing up to 12,000 rpm's? Just a little advice here would be nice...
Take it easy on me I am a newbie

No man, you're not going to blow anything up ~ it's a sportbike. During normal riding I cruise around 6-8K rpms (2nd - 3rd gear) and shift probably around 10K+. You don't need to redline it everytime; just once in a while

Even 14K is OK. But you being a newbie, be real careful. If you accidentally downshift while going at those speeds, you could easily mess yourself up, i.e. locking up your rear.
