Default New Rider

Hey guys figured id join a forum since theres plenty to learn from all of you.
Picked up my first bike at the end of july for a steal. 2007 cbr600rr with 1780km on it. Love it more than anything. Had a lot of guys feed me the crap about starting on 600 and i agree in some cases but in the end its not the bike its the rider in control of it. Respect it and the power and ride within your comfort

Welcome aboard! A 600rr as a first bike eh? You've got the right attitude. All the trouble starts with your right hand. The bike just does what you tell it to.

Swing by this section for some tips. A lot of tips How To: Riding Skills - CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners

And remember my tag line: Our bikes can go from 0 - Stupid in less than "I wonder if this will be a good idea"

Completely agree with that quote. Yes it took me 7 years to finally decide to get a motorcycle I spent a lot of time doubting and weighing the risk factors it's been a rough year in Ontario (canada) for fatalities but I just couldn't stay away from it. Pleasure and freedom just about the most fun you can have with your pants on.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Tony,

" just about the most fun you can have with your pants on. "

Indeed it is! Plus you'd be silly to ride a bike with no pants

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF... I like the looks of your bike... Glad to hear that you are approaching the learning to ride with a 600 with caution... 600's are great bikes...
