Default New rider (updated w/ pics)

Hey all. New rider here from south Carolina. Been in the air force for 8 years now. I've wanted a bike, specifically a cbr600 for about 5 years. Wife finally gave me the green light, and I found a clean f4i online that I am going to check out when I go home on leave this week. I have no riding experience but i am a very responsible driver and this bike will surly terrify the hell out of me enough to take it slowand easy! I will also be taking every MSF course I can (military pays for it). I'm sure this bike will have everything I will ever need. I was considering an RR but I am short and I hear the f4i is more comfy, and I really don't need the RR for my first bike. Hope to pick this one up this Thursday or so, and even though I don't have my license, I'll post pics of it lookin purty on the trailer

***UPDATED W/ PICS***

Ready for the 1.5hr ride home

Welcome aboard AF! Sounds like you've got a great plan. I highly recommend the MSF courses.

Hope all goes well w/ you picking up your new to you bike. One tip...get yourself a CanyonDancer to strap down your bike to the trailer.

Look forward to the pics!

Quick update, got the bike. Gonna post pics and details when I get spare time ringer on the laptop.

The twin turbo refers to my old Stealth twin turbo. I had to sell it in 09 when I had a transfer. Hope to get another one in the not too distant future. I had it to 450AWHP (not dyno proven, but similar parts to ppl who had those numbers)
