New From Philly with a '98 600 F3
I picked up my first Honda this winter. I'm interested in doing some track riding this year and didn't want to put anything I currently own out there. So I found a cheap F3 on CL. Turns out it was cheap for a reason–needs some serious TLC. So I'm trying to sort it out this winter and have it ready for the upcoming season.
This forum is chock-full of useful info, I haven't really had to post many questions yet. Although, my wrenching has only really just begun.
It's so damn cold in my garage, I haven't really been able to do much wrenching. So I decided to do some photoshop paint scheme ideas. I really like the look of classic race bikes, so if I have the time, I'm trying to do something like in the attached image. I started painting the tank, but a friend suggested I hold up on painting until I sort the mechanics out (something about the moto gods would get angry).
If this all works out, I'll hopefully be riding at NJ Motorsports Park.
Current state:
Pic of the bike basically as it is now. I have all the fairings, but they're just not mounted.
Maybe it'll get close to this:
