I am completely new to bikes and have not even passed my test yet! I have been trying biking with a KTM Duke 125. as I have my MOD 1 coming up in thought I would start thinking about a step up bike and seem to have accidentally bought a 1998 CBR 900 RRW. the bike had been stood for several years when I picked it up as it started jumping out of 4th gear. have been cleaning and recommisioning mostly so far. don't want to rush it as I'll be too tempted to ride before I pass test!!!

it was definitely a good accident. mentioned to a friend I was after a project bike and he happened to have this laid up. have just bought a replacement engine for it as that way I can take my timword rebuilding the original!! MOD 1 tomorrow so hopefully will be a step closer.
