Hello fellow CBR owners,

I'm a new CBR owner and need to register my bike today (inspection).

The DMVV/AAA representative asked me to make sure the Emissions ID and the Engine ID are visible and verifiable.

Do I have to remove the cowling to get these numbers? Also, does anyone know where these numbers are located specifically?

I'd love to not hav take all that plastic off if possible.

I believe all that is on the same tag that is located on the frame. Has VIN on it also. Not sure where it is on the F2 ... mine is on the left side on the frame towards the front of the bike.

 

I just pulled my engine from my f2 and the engine serial number is located on the right side and you do have to take part of the right side plastics off. I don't have a clue about the emission id, we don't have to do emmissions in AZ.
