Default New from Ohio

Hi all,
New member from SW Ohio...looking for a CBR 600..at least at this moment...read a lot of good things about them.

Are they able to fit a 6'2 rider? not too "short" ?

Thanks,
ER1C

Welcome to the forum

I'm right at 6 foot and feel great on my F4i, me and riding buddy swapped bikes last night for a while, He has an 08 zzr600 ninja. I felt very cramped up on it.

Welcome to the CBRForum ER1C.

Your question is a good one. The answer is somewhat objective. Some taller riders feel cramped up, some don't. Its all a matter of perspective, experience, & expectations. If you're a new rider, just about any sportbike may feel small. Once you're riding for awhile, you'll get used to it. I've found that the CBR, especially earlier models like the F4i, are relatively comfortable. Also, CBRs to me anyway, tend to have more comfortable ergos compared to other popular makes.

Good to have you aboard.

Thanks all,

I will hit up the 600 forum fer sure....I have an 08 E-Glide, Had a sport bike back in the 90's (am 46) and thought about picking up a used sportbike and I know you cannot go wrong with Honda stuff....generators, cars, bikes...all last a long time.

It would be mostly a "fun" rider , commuter, something funner than the Harley but thats is my tourer fer sure...but they both have a purpose.

Thanks All,
I am Looking to add the CBR to the stable as a commuter and occassional fun rider. My E-Glide is the touring machine..it's nimble (as it can be lol) but its not a sporty bike by any means.
