I thought property prices were pretty good over your way ?
We get a few of your selling property programs here on cable .and me misses watches them alllll the time
..the market looks good at the moment ?
I am sure we could find a spare chunk of space and a slice of sunshine for you mate

The nickname just sort of came about - I had (have?) a habit of breaking things, leaving a trail of destruction - hence Destructo....
Property prices are in freefall here, down about 15% on peak already and the media touting another 10-15% off in 2009 (I wonder what will happen now then...... flippin' media!) - the Credit Crunch and recession also mean mortgages are not easy for people to get hold of.
The programmes are probably from a couple of years back, we still get them on the cable channels too. These programmeswere really popular when the prices were rocketing up, as everyone wanted to make a quick £ out of property......[sm=rant.gif]
But I live in hope, so save someof that sunshine and a VB for me!
How are things in Oz, is the recession kicking in? I read on another forum that things were starting to turn bad in the mining and resources areas, or is that not the case??

Yer ...I think the real estate market in general has been artificially pumped up by all the hype over quick profits over the last few years mate ....and sure they are settling ....hopefully not too far..
Things do not seem to bad ...but I may be a little out of touch mate ...
I am not too effected by the slow down as I work direct to the public as a General plumber and a HAVC installer .... and in my region , we have a good level of peeps with old money .
No matter what the economy seems to do ...the public always needs to be warmed and cooled , and definately needs there water , Gas . and drains to be working , so I am still getting quite allot of work mate ..
hope thing start to go your way for you soon Danny
