Hello forum, Just wanted to follow the rules and drop a quick introduction::
My name is bryan (i go by RED) im 30 years old. I grew up riding dirt bikes but until about 3 weeks ago ive never riden a street bike.

Well i bought a cheap bike from a obvious kid owner (stickers, cracks, and stupid sticker band-aids all over it.
The Bike is a honda cbr 600 f4 (2000 model). To put it simply.... im in love, as i figured i would be with my first bike.
So... I've clocked about 1k miles and now that i've gotten the feel for things, im ready to start doing some siy customizing/modifications.

I literally knew NOTHING about a street bike or the motor..
One day while i was off work i downloaded a PDF of the cbr manual and i was surpised at how easy things werre to fix, and modifiy.
I'm thinking for my first modification i want to do is get some better gauges for this thing.

I had a small over heating issue when i first bought it which i believe i solved just by doing a good oil and coolant flush.
While in the process of fixing that i noticed the 2000 cbr model only has a c and h temp gauge, no actual degree numbers, so i really wanna get something better because i like to know the temp my bike runs at consistently.
