Hello everyone,
My name is Rob and I came across this site while researching some how to's while doing some work on my bike. I have come across alot of information from this site and thought i should join and share some of my knowledge and give back.
I currently ride a 2000 CBR F4 whick i have owned for 5-6 years its been pretty good to me. I purchased it pretty much how you see it i have only made a few modifications like the werkes fender elimintaor and -1 front sprocket.

That's a good looking bike, and good to see you do some of the work on her! What sort of information were you researching? Lots of knowledgable members have probably done it before and can help steer you to success.
How long is the down time for riding in Ontario?

I have looked at everything from what tires guys use and like, to checking valve clearence, carb syncing ect. I was happy to find a copy of a FSM on here as well. Down time will probably be from late Oct/Nov to hopefully Mar/ Apr. All depends on when it starts warming back up. I was out this year just above 0c (32F) but normally when the mornings are warmer than 10c.

Good for you - working on your own bike can be incredibly satisfying. And glad you found the FSM. Now you can tackle the bigger jobs 
I'm not just a fair-weather rider but am certainly glad of my grip warmers in the cooler weather

Nice looking F4 you have there. I have a 2000 F4 as well. They really are great bikes & last of the carb'd CBRs. Years back, I did the split-seat conversion ('01-03 F4i tail). If you ever want to do the same, I have a link to my split-seat tutorial in my sig-line.
Its always good to add another F4 member... We tend to have members come & go in the F4 section. So a more permanent F4 member would be great! ;-) Speaking of which, come on over to the F4 section & post pics up in the pic thread over there as well.

Thanks everyone, gotcbr I have actually checked out your split seat conversation before lol but I like my banana seat it's comfortable. As for the table I just decided to build it one day I can take more detailed photos of my makeshift front stand if anyone wants to see how it works. Also if anyone is wondering the black you see on the table is truck bedliner lol just for a little grip.
