Hello all!

Last week on my way to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway I looked at a 1991 CBR 1000F. After thinking about it while on the Parkway I decided I had to get it. When I got back home a week later and I contacted the seller and he told me that he sold the bike. Bummer! No bike, but the CBR 1000F bug has bit me. I've got to find one. I'm an old dude who loves older bikes, but they have to be stock! I can fix the older ones and it much easier when they are stock.

If you have a clean '90 or '91 bone stock give me a shout.

Another possibility......if I find one with an aftermarket exhaust I'd be willing to trade that exhaust for a stock one or buy your old stock exhaust.

PS Can't wait till my "Probationary Period" is over so I can post and PM. Kinda silly cos it makes it harder for me to buy things from other members!!!!!

Craigslist is a good starting point in your quest.

Also we have a member in the 1000F section with a mk3 he's thinking of letting go of.

yes, ive seen two really nice ones on CL in the last few months in the NC, SC, GA area. and a couple of ragged ones too (fixer uppers). you will see one soon, monitor CL every day with cash ready.

 

Right on man, the 'cane would be a GREAT tourer for going to some places like the BRP. Comfy until you get there, and pretty sport for while you're there. Welcome to the site. Keep your eyes peeled on CL and ebay!
