Hi, looking for some advice...im a new member and just bought an 01 cbr 600 f4i, bike is super sweet. I do, however, have an FI indicator light on the panel and was wondering if anyone can give me some insight as to what it is. Thanks.

 

The FI light is the fuel injection light. There should be a procedure in your owners manual for seeing which codes its throwing. Did you buy the bike with it on? And the possible reasons are looses sensors and other fuel related causes so just try to find what specificly is the problem

 

hey, thanks for the quick reply there...also thanks for the info. I did the buy bike with it on and im going to pick up a power commader for it tomorrow. the bike runs fine, idles fine, no probs, but i want to clear the light for peace of mind.
