I am pretty new to riding. I rode a few years ago, for a short time, but I still consider my self a newb. I have been looking at different bikes for a couple months, but recently had a sweet deal fall into my lap.

Your right, I need to stop second guessing myself. Hopefully this week I can start getting everything in order. So I can start riding it next week.

Haha, very true!

I have walked into my garage to admire it about 10 times today. And everytime it makes me smile just looking at it. By far one of the most aesthetic bikes in my eyes

Just got (in my opinion) a great quote from my insurance company. $36/mo for liability insurance

It should get cheaper as you are licensed longer. I think I pay $120/year for 2 bikes.

Which LA are you in, the state or the city?

Wow that is cheap! I am pretty young at the age of 23, and unfortunately a few years I was a bit of an idiot, and put some dumb things on my driving record.

I put myself on your map, I live west of Pasadena, in the La Crecenta area.

You can also edit your location in the user cp so it shows up on your posts.

I was just in Pasadena 2 weeks ago. You have some nice mountain roads near by. Use them as much as you can.

I haven't been able to edit my profile, I don't think my request to join the site, has been properly accepted yet.

Yes there are some very nice windy roads up here, that I look forward to testing out, come december.
