Hello everyone, my name is Dave. I am new to this forum, but have been a member on the CBR500 Riders forum and VFR Forum for years. I just picked up my new addition to the family, a pristine 1997 CBR600F3. She is a beauty with only 3400 miles on the clock. The bike was stored for about 12 years and only had 2300 miles put on it between 1997 and 2016. I have seen brand new demo bikes at a Honda dealer with more wear. This bike is truly stunning for it's age. I am almost afraid to title it and ride it! I am sure I will be using this forum for a bunch of questions as I am not very familiar with this bike mechanically, and I usually do all of my own work. I won't be modding this bike in any serious way as I wish to keep it as bone stock as it has been. My only thought is to bar end risers to help me as I fractured my neck years ago and I am only comfortable sitting upright. As for my other bikes, I also own an 85 Interceptor that my brother bought new, and I have owned since 1991. The other bike is 2013 CBR500RA which I bought for daily riding while I restored the Interceptor. I have been riding since 1990, all Honda's. My first bike was a 77' CB550K. Looking forward to enjoying the F3!Name: 600F3%20b_zpshl5vj8bo.jpg

Some nice bikes there Droman!

I'm sure you'll enjoy the f3, it's amazing how these things still turn up in this kind of condition. I can understand you wanting to keep her stock, but she needs you to put some more miles on her

BTW welcome to the forum.

Thank you! Stock she will stay, but miles she will get. I am fortunate to live less than 5 miles to the entrance to Skyline Drive/Blue Ridge Parkway. Some of the best motorcycling roads on Earth. I am just going to raise them bars a bit and go from there!
