this is my first post on any forum. i just recently bought a brand new 2005 1000rr and i am already experiencing problems with the bike. i am definently not the most mechanically inclined person in the world so i figured i would postthe problem to see if anyone else has experienced this same problem. the bike has 2900 miles on it and i ride it(weather permitting) everyday to and from work. when i am cruising around 4000 thousand rpms the bike starts to hesitate (bad)almost likes its running out of fuel. there are no problems during acceleration or deceleration. i am hoping the problem (if any) is a simple fix. i love the bike and will really be disappointed if this is the beginning of major repair work.

Hello & Welcome!!

Try putting a fuel injection cleaner in there. You may have some ugly stuff in the gas tank....is this your first bike?
