Welcome to the forum.
Did you get the bike in pieces? Hopefully you know how to put it together and where everything goes. A parts diagram with exploded views are very helpful. Good luck...

That is what I'm trying to find. The exploded diagram views and directions. I really want to rebuild this thing. I think it will be fun. The pics I don't have just yet. All I have is a picture of it with the plastics on it. This was all disassembled in the frame if that helps anyone. It's down to the block. With the head off

Wow, you really did get yourself a project! ;-) However, always glad to hear that an ole CBR will be brought back to life to live on the roads again. You do have some work ahead of you but you found a good base of info here to help you get there.

Welcome aboard!

I kinda wish I would have gotten my bike like that. This way, you will know exactly what your bike has or doesn't have and you will know from experience how to tear into anything on the bike. It's a pain, but if you do it right, it's well worth the learning experience. I'll be going through and rebuilding everything along the way anyway, so I guess it's still going to amount to the same thing, but it also sucks tearing stuff back apart to get to something I haven't done yet.

Yeah that's what I was hoping for. I want to know what I've got and how to get into it. I'm a do it yourself kinda person. Just have to figure out how to put the pieces back together. If anyone knows where a step by step engine build is let me know. I want to look at all I can.
