Default New Honda rider

Hey everyone. I just bought a 2004 CBR F4i. I also ride a 2005 Buell XB12Scg. I love my Buell for show and for the strip/track, but I had to get a Honda for highway riding. I don't know if I like this fuel injection on the Honda, but it seems like a really smoothe bike. The bike actually shut off once on a really tight turn. Has this ever happened to anyone else? It only happened once so far so I'm hoping it's a fluke.

Dude, Welcome to the forum! You ride Indy? Me and my neighbor (also a Buell rider, Lightning) ride naptown also.
Hit me up with a pm and we'll ride. Thursday night is bike and we plan on being out tonight.

Nope, haven't had mine shut off -- that's strange. You're probably right -- it's a fluke.
What don't you like about fuel injection?

Thanks for the warm welcome! My personal riding season is coming to an end, but the good news is that I haven't had the cut off problem anymore. I live in Carmel, IN just north of Indianapolis and I'm down to ride with anyone. It's hard to find other Buell riders in my area and my buddies riding cruisers don't like how I ride. It's hard to just 'cruise' when you have a 395 lb sport bike with a 1200cc V-twin between your legs. I actually forgot about this post. Most of the time you'll find me on buellxb.com, but I'll start popping in here more often.

You'll get used to the abrupt on/off, some people get a PCIII and claim it helps. Welcome to the club.
