Default new here, saying whats up

hey everyone, just a little intro. unfortunately i dont have a CBR but am looking to get one in the very near future. im here to learn more about them for my future purchase right now im just learning the basics on how to ride and all that.
what attracted me to the CBR was its track record. im looking to get a 600 to use for leisure, and then maybe progress onto track.
so yes, im a total n00b, flame away lol

thanks Shadow. im basically a total n00b when it comes to bikes. i plan on picking up some old beater bike to learn on (probably an old 250 ninja), then move on to a cbr real soon. plus the extra cash from when i sell the gas guzzler car lol.
i just dont know if i should get a 600 or something bigger, and of course i want something that handles well. of course price is a factor as well, so im probably better sticking to a 600.
one of my problems right now is that i dont know where to start or even what questions to ask! lol so yeah...

If you're totally new to bikes, and want to learn a little about them, how they work, how to fix them etc, try this :

http://www.dansmc.com/mc_repaircourse.htm

It's very complete and it's got this Online Manuals links where you can find lots of stuff.
(thanks to Luis for the link)
