New Guy- Old rider
Hey All,
New to this forum, haven't had a CBR since before there were forums. Just picked up a lightly used, much loved 1990 1000F with just 18,000 Mi. on the clock. According to the 72 year old guy I bought it from; never been ridden in the rain, never sat outside overnight, itza sweetie! Needs the usual stuff, tires were from 2004 and 06 respectively, fluids, carb clean, fork seal just weeping a teensy bit, it should be fun fettling this old charmer! I've been in the motorcycle business for 27 years, in fact sold a bunch of these back in the day. I work for an Italian OEM now so this big Honda is a therapy tool as well. I joined to be able to share what little I know and to have access the acquired knowledge you all have gained, to help shortcut the pitfalls and have fun with this fine classic motorcycle! Best regards, Jim |
Welcome to the CBR Forum Jim,
Post up some pics of your new ride when you get a chance. And drop into the Hurricane Saloon and say hi to the guys. Cheers, SB |
Welcome to the forum Jim. Maybe you sold that one and it found you again after all those years.
