New guy from Indiana

Hey all.obviously im new to the site and am looking into getting a bike very soon.I really like the cbr600 as a first bike,which it will be.Ive never riddden before up till this summer,and I have the fever for one!

Ive been and have had a Subaru STI and the commute.but I need something different to do.

Oh I am taking the Abate class in september too.

Welcome to the site from a fellow Hoosier. Where abouts are yah from ? I am about 25 miles North of Louisville myself. Good luck on gettin you a bike there a lot of fun, and mine saves me about $200 a month in fuel costs. Gear up, and ride safe !!

I'd look into an older one for cheap. One that you won't feel too terrible about dropping.

Always good to hear people getting some training, too. It helps a whole lot.
Just take it slow, get some decent gear, and have fun with it.

Also wondering where in IN you are from. Welcome to CBRF!!

I found a 01 f4i on craigslist for 2,400 (with a rebuilt title).. Had to give it a little love. Bought new plastics that I'm still waiting for... but I feel like I still came out ahead. Good luck finding a bike.
