New guy here
Well add me to the list of rideaholics! I'm Mike from WI about 20min west of Milwaukee. I picked up an 06 f4i almost two weeks ago on the 14 and I'm pretty excited! =) I've got about 270 miles on it so far and I hear the break in period is pretty much over so I can start having a little more fun!!! This is my first bike, I've ridin friends before so I pretty much know what I'm doing (or so I hope). Anyway I was sitting around this morning bummed that it was raining AGAIN and thought I would join a cbr forum and this one seemed pretty popular with some cool and helpful people on it. Here are a few pics of my bike in the garage since it's raining and i cant get it out in the sun. =( All I've done so far was put a Sportech chrome windscreen on it. Looking to get some nice blue lighting for inside and underneath it next.
Just two quick questions maybe someone can help me out? First, In the third picture there are three hoses that are coming out the bottom of the bike. (Let me remind you I am a noob sorry =/ ) Well I had the bike outside in the sun for the 1hour of today that was sunny and when I went out there to put it in the garage it looked like oil leaked out of one of them. I touched the bottom and had some black crap on my fingers. Is this normal? What are those hoses for? Second, on the very last picture theres like some "crap" where they kickstand is I am assuming thats from the chain and its the lubricant or something? I've never noticed that on friends bikes is that normal too?
