Default New guy with a 97 f3

I recently purchased a 97 F3 and found this site after a little searching for more info about it. This is far from my first bike but it is the bike I lusted after when I was just out of high school and to broke for a bike.

I also have an 07 FZ6 so this is a fun bike for me not my commuter which gives me some freedom to have the bike down for a while if need be.

Well it photographs well but the realit is that it is about a 20 footer. The bike is a good runner but has had a couple of low speed drops. The last owner replaced the reg/rectifier but didn't check the connections on the plug so the first ride to work it left me walking on the way home. I am currently waiting on the new pilot power for the rear to match the one on the front. I hate backorders.

Looks ok from here, and that's all that matters. lol.
And yeah, backorders suck. I'd just cancel and look somewhere else. I'm sure a few places have them in stock for around the same price.

Welcome to the site!

Nice , like Trout says I'd zero it out and order in stock somewhere else.

Had it ordered at a local shop. They tried but there is just no availability. I am just going to go get my money back in the morning as Michelin has pushed them back another month and worry about the rear tire in the spring as riding season is about over and I have another bike to ride. I think I am going to use the money to take the family out this weekend.

That's weird that the 160 and 170's are out of stock. Sucks.
