Hello everybody, new member to your forum but have been on here quite a bit. I'm currently looking for a bike. Been riding for 6 years, but not the last 2.
I had a 96 CBR600 f3 a few years ago but had to sell it because I was moving. I actually found this site and have been on here a lot researching trying to decide what I want next (f4 or f4i). I've found tons of useful information so far and have a lot more reading to do.

Welcome aboard! Won't find much good riding in Philly. I'm gonna start doing overnights in Hershey soon

What part of Philly? I'm in west.

Glad you found us. Yep, we've got a huge amt of info here. Settle in & make yourself at home.

The F4 or F4i would be excellent choices. The F4 was the last carb'd CBR. The F4i in '01 started fuel injection. If you're old school, the F4 carbs won't bother you. Its a great bike. If you're looking for FI, the F4i is the bike for you. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Happy shopping!

I'm actually right outside in Southampton. I used to live in NE near Welsh and The Blvd.

Yea that's kind of what I'm trying to decide on. Much rather have FI but they're a bit more expensive.

Most importantly, take your time shopping. Don't fall in love w/ the shiniest or prettiest bike b/c you never know what's underneath.
