Default New to the Forum, Need some Info

hey guys, my name is joe
i came to these forums because i'm looking to buy a bike.
i have found a 1994 Honda CBR600 F2.
its got 22xxx on it
it needs some TLC and some new parts, but it starts right up.
i haven't ridden it yet, but i plan on going to take a spin on it this saturday.
i have a few questions though, so thats why i came to this forum....
what kinda issues or consistent problems do these bikes have? and what should i be sure to check for on this specific model?
what would be a good price offer for this bike? it needs a front brake caliper, disc, rear side fairing and probably a new chain.
It's spray painted flat black but it has nice wheels and newer rubber.
Like i said it needs some TLC, but i think it definately could be a nice bike.
Any help or buying tips are appreciated.
thanks guys

I'm sure the search will bring up a plethora of results on that one..

From what i've read they are are hard to get fitted on the bike and up close they look cheapsy.

hey guys just wondering how interchangable parts are between these bikes?
like are the parts from 87 to 91 the same? or 91 to 94?
that kinda thing
i checked out the bike mentioned previously in the post and the guy wants way too much money for it. it has been abused severly, but i found another bike, 1989 CBR 600 F, 32xxx miles, alotta new parts, $1200 obo.
how good are these bikes from the late 90's?
from the pictures it looks really clean
thanks for the help

Sounds about right. I got a couple of quotes here ranging from 350-500 depending on how much extra work I wanted done like re-bondoing.
