New To Forum
Greetings,
I'm new to this forum and actually to forums in general. I ride a 1990 cbr1000f. It has about 53k and still has enough oomph to scare me. (not all the time, though). Last year I decided to do some track days since going fast is cool; but going fast on public highways in New Jersey is not such a great idea. I got lots of remarks from people when I showed up at the track with my 1990 ride. One of the coaches was excited since he owns three of the same bike. He instantly became my friend and personal coach. That was good because I needed all the help I could get.
Anyway, I just bought a 1997 f3 and am going to use that as my track bike this year. I've never ridden a 600 before and I think it will be a blast. So, any advice or information that you guys have is definately welcome.
More later when I actually pick up the bike and get it on the road. I'm going to use it on the track; but it is a street legal pretty much stock bike with 22k.

Let me be the first to welcome you aboard! Glad you found us.
Track days are the best way to get your speed fix. Glad you enjoyed your track days experiences.
Congrats on getting your F3! It will make a great track bike. As far as advice for the track goes, follow what your track instructors/coaches taught you & build on that. We have a section for riding techniques here w/ links to riding the track, etc. Perhaps take a look there as well.
When you get a chance, please post pics of your bikes.
Good to have you w/ us.
